I know how fortunate I am to be able to make my wish come true by doing this wonderful trip: that, at 60, I have the health and (hopefully!) the strength; that I can afford the time and the cost; that, living in southwest Florida, I’ve been able to train out-of-doors; that I have the enthusiastic support and encouragement from my best buddy, Rick.
Not everyone is as fortunate: children with life-threatening medical conditions have their wishes granted and are given hope, strength, and joy by the Make-A-Wish Foundation.

Lois - It is so good to hear about you and your ride. I like the part about you smelling every flower and reading every point of interest sign.
